Exotic manufactures APU exhaust ducts for several commercial aircraft types. These large assemblies are typically made from nickel alloy due to operating temperatures and can range in size and shape based on acoustic and thermal requirements for each aircraft. APU exhaust ducting is available in both acoustic and non-acoustic configurations. Metallic insulation is typically utilized in the assembly to minimize heat transfer to the adjacent structure and systems in the tail cone.
